Explain how the Arabic word Allah is different from the Hebrew word YHWH.
1. Allah = "The God"
-Islam emphasis on the Oneness and Holiness of God:
-ex. - no images of God in Mosques, but beautiful geometric patterns and the word "Allah" adorns the walls

-means "submission" or "surrender" to the will of God

-God spoke (through the Angel Gabriel) to Muhammad, in Arabic for 22 years
