2. July 18, 2018 - City passes proposal on zoning codes despite opposition from some Greek Life affiliates
3. September 4, 2018 - Inter-fraternity Council releases statement regarding six fraternities disaffiliation from the University following the zoning code changes
4. September 13, 2018 - The Daily reports disaffiliated fraternities create their own independent fraternity council (AAIFC) with advice from fraternity lawyers (yes fraternal law is actually a thing) because of zoning code changes and deferred rush in 2020.
5. November 8, 2018 - Alpha Sigma Phi is banned from campus after allegations of violent hazing. They were one of the frats who disaffiliated though?
