Displacement current
A fictitious current flowing between the plates of a capacitor
Conditions for an EM wave to satisfy Maxwell's equations in free space.
1.) The E field and the B field must be perpendicular
2.) E x B is in the direction of propagation. (both function of x)
3.) v=E/B, where v is the wave speed. In a vacuum, v=c
4.) The E field and the B field must be in phase - Emax occurs at the same
point and time as Bmax. (w and k same, same phase constant)
