Maya cities usually fought each other for land and power. The wars were usually bloody and very violent. Warriors fought using hand-made weapons like spears, flint knives, and wooden clubs.
Describe how trade worked across the Mayan civilization.
Trade usually happend between highlanders and lowlanders. Lowlanders would trade crops like cotton, rubber, and cacao beans. Highlanders couldn't grow good crops so they traded valueable stones like jade and obsidian. This way, people could have all the things they didn't have access to nearby.

Maya cities interacted wiht each other through trade and war.

Mayans aboned their cities in the 900s. Scientists aren't sure why they moved/migrated.
