Use the tangent of a line. A tangent is a straight line which touches the curve at one point only. You then find the gradient of this tangent.
strong correlation( linear)
Data that is very close to being a line is a scatter plot graph. There is a linear relationship between variables.
no correlation( linear)
Scatter plot data that shown no obvious pattern between variables
weak correlation( linear)
Scatter plot between strong and no correlation.
correlation coefficient( linear)
A value (r) denoting the strength of a linear relationship on a scatter plot.
