Step forward right, touch left foot forward, step backward left, touch right foot to the back.

While standing with feet together, touch right shoulder with right hand, left shoulder with left hand, back of right hip with right hand, back of left hip with left hand, front of right hip with right hand, front of left hip with left hand, throw right arm overhead, throw left arm overhead. Hips move in opposition with each of these arm movements.

Join hands with partner and pull right hips towards each other as the partners walk in a clockwise circle. Pull arms out and then repeat travelling the other direction with left hips together.
Stand with feet apart and left hand on hip. Point right arm high to the right and then low to the left as hips push to that same direction.
With a partner, bend knees on odd counts (1, 3, 5, 7) and bump hips/body on even counts (2, 4, 6, 8) while both partners circle in their own place. Arms can be thrown any direction.

Step right side, left side, and slide right while knees are turned in.
Feet apart and relaxed arms out the side. Starting with the head, tilt and "snake" the body to the right. Travel through shoulder, arm, and hand. Repeat left.
Cross step right over left, step left in place, step right next to left. Repeat on other side.
tea berry shuffle
Jump with feet apart, jump with legs crossed, and unwind legs in a circle to face front.
Stand with feet apart. Stir both arms in front of body (as if stirring a large pot) and body rocks side to side while the arms move.
Stand with feet apart and clasp hands together. Bend knees and push arms and clasped hands to right while hips go to the left. Feet turn to right. Repeat other direction.
Kick Step Touch
Kick right leg forward low, step on right, and touch left foot to the side.
Left hand behind neck, right arm straight to side. Pulse the arms in and out while walking in a circle.
Step back right, step back left, step back right and ball change front-back. This is a backwards "skipping" movement that travels slightly back. The arms are slightly relaxed and moving forward and back.
Placing the foot on the floor with weight, only using the ball of the foot; 1 sound
Jumping up with one foot then flexing your knee of your other foot as the moving leg springs up and lands on the original foot; 1 sound
Strike the top edge of the tap shoe with one quick sound.
A quick brush-step to the front. Strike forward to the floor with the toe tap, then step forward and put weight on the working foot. Usually done forward but can be done in other directions as well; 2 sounds

A quick brush of the ball tap in a backward or sideward direction.
An upbeat and repeatable combination that marks a tempo. There are countless variations of the "time step".
stomp time step
Stomp with right foot, hop with left foot, step on right foot, flap with left foot, step with right foot - this pattern reverses itself. Adding a side shuffle after the hop "doubles" the time step. Adding two side shuffles (one each side) after the hop "triples" the time step.
A side traveling movement. Leap to right foot, shuffle left, leap to left foot while placing the right foot in front of the left leg; 4 sounds.
Leap on right foot, shuffle left foot, leap on left foot, tip right foot; 5 sounds. This step can be performed in place or turning.
Shuffle, step, shuffle, step, shuffle, ball-change, shuffle, step
Similar to a jazz pas de bourée. Spank the right foot to the back, ball change to an open position (right-left), stamp the right foot; 4 sounds
