Frame rate (fps)
the number of frames per second at which an animation or video is intended to be viewed
The relationship of width to height in a picture or shape. Typically 16:9 or 4:3
The inner 90 percent of the video frame. Since the outer 10 percent of a broadcast picture is typically cut off by over-scanning, this area is considered safe for most subject matter
Size of video frame measured in pixels. 1920 x 1080 is standard HD video.
a minute area of illumination on a display screen, one of many from which an image is composed.
White Balance (WB)
The concept of color temperature. Color temperature is a way of measuring the quality and tonality of a light source. It is based on the ratio of the amount of blue light to the amount of red light, and the green light is ignored.
Adjusting the color values of a photo to make them appear more realistic or to achieve the desired effect
Modifying the color/exposure and other qualities of a video clip to help tell a story.
