Notes on telling time:
"È l'una..." is only used for 1 - 1:30
"Sono le" is used for all other times, except for NOON & MIDNIGHT.
There are special words for 15, 30, and 45 minutes after the hour
When you see the minutes :45, :50, & :55 you go to the next hour and subtract how minutes it will take to get to the next hour
ex: 5:50 - Sono le sei meno dieci. (It's 6 o'clock minus 10 minute or It's 10 minutes to six o'clock)
Another way to tell time after 30 is to use the numbers from 30 - 59 to express the time.
ex: 5:50 - Sono le cinque e cinquanta.
