Accounting Number Format
assigns the desired Accounting number format
the values that you use with a function
following d4 is the arithmetic operator that directs Excel to perform the multiplication operation
AVERAGE function
sums the numbers in the specified range and then divides the sum by the number of nonzero cells in the range
best fit
the width of the column will be increased or decreased so the widest entry will fit in the column

in Excel, has a numerical value of zero, which would have resulted in an error message
Comma style format

appears immediately to the left of the first digit with no spaces, use the Currency style in the Format Cells dialog box
assign it to excel and it will calculate a result
formulas version
shows the actual formulas you have entered rather than the resulting values

hiding cells
a technique you can use to hide data that might not be relevant to a particular report or sensitive data that you do not want others to see
landscape orientation
means the printout is printed across the length of the page
MAX function
displays the highest value in a range
MIN function
determines the lowest (minimum) number in the range D4:D12

the default view that you have worked in up until thid point in the book
