Person vs. Person example
James and Bill fight over wanting the same girl, but only one can have her.
Person vs. Self example
James wants the girl but also wants Bill as his best friend, and must choose.
Person vs. Nature example
James' plane crashes in a deserted forest, and the pilot dies, leaving him along to try to survive in the wilderness.
Person vs. Society example
James is a slave in Colonial America who wants to be a doctor, but slaves aren't allowed into medical school.
Person vs. Technology, Magic, Supernatural
James must fly the alien spacecraft into the mothership to deliver the bomb and save the Earth.
