state-dependent memory
best retrieved when a person is on the same mood as the memories were when stored
maintenance rehearsal
repeated repetition of information to help the learning process
first process in memory, the translation of memory for future use
the process by which we remember experience, information and skills
context-dependent memories
best retrieved when in the situation in which the situation was first remembered.
Third memory process-locates stored information and returns it to conscious thought.
explicit memory
memory of specific information that are clear or clearly stated; it may be autobiographical or it may refer to common knowledge
