Route: PO, topically as a powder

USE: treatment for thrush (PO) and skin fungal infections (topically)
S/E: Diarrhea, Nausea/vomiting

Care:
do not drink right after, avoid commercial mouthwash, finish as directed, assess mucous membranes

USE: prevention of bronchospasm in COPD
S/E: nervousness, restlessness, tremor, palpitations

Class: antiarrhythmic

USE: heart failure, Afib, increases the force of myocardial contraction
S/E: bradycardia, nausea, vomiting

Care: Monitor apical pulse for 1 full minute and hold for heart rate <60bpm. Monitor for digoxin toxicity (abdominal pain, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, visual disturbances, yellow halos around lights, bradycardia and other arrhythmia
