subheading
a heading given to a smaller subsection within a larger piece of writing
table of contents
a list of divisions (chapters or articles) and the pages on which they start. It is usually found in the front of the book.
main idea
the most important idea, what a piece of writing is mostly about
supporting detail
a piece of information that helps to support or explain the main idea
