I-Greater trochanter of femur.
A-Abducts & medially rotates thigh; steadies pelvis.
sartorius
O-Anterior superior iliac spine.
I-Aponeurosis into medial aspect of proximal tibia.
A-Flexes, abducts, & laterally rotates thigh; flexes knee.
tensor fasciar latae
O-Anterior iliac crest & anterior superior iliac spine.
I-Iliotibial tract.
A-Flexes, abducts & medially rotates thigh.
vastus medialis
O-Linea aspera & intertrochanteric line.

A-Extends knee; stabilized patella.

O-Lateral condyle & upper 2/3 tibia.
I-By tendon into inferior surface of first cuneiform & metatarsal 1.
A-Prime mover of dorsiflexion; inverts the foot.

O-Ischial tuberosity.
I-Medial upper tibial shaft.
A-Extends thigh; flexes knee; medially rotates leg.

A-Plantar flexes foot when knee is extended; crosses knee joint; can flex knee.
