Windows 8 basic

Comparable to windows 7 Pro and Ultimate. Aimed at individuals with more advanced needs, at home or in a small office.
Activate by holding Alt Key and tapping Tab Key. It displays a rectangle across the middle of the screen that shows all running apps, including individual desktop apps.
Located near the bottom left of most keyboards that displays a windows logo and is used in combination with other keys to create keyboard shortcuts

Create an account with Family safely by selecting the link "Add a child's account" In control panel family safety will be shown. manage settings on family safety website. See activity reports you can turn on activity reporting.
When installing windows 8 be SURE to have updated drivers ready on a flash drive or similar. Check first with the compatibly with Windows 8 upgrade assistant.
