The cup, usually gold, that holds the wine that becomes the Blood of Jesus at the Consecration
A container or dish to hold the bread needed for communion and to hold the consecrated bread placed in the tabernacle

Chosen to respond to the First Reading, it is a song that celebrates the great things God has done.
The Second Reading chosen from the writings of the Apostles; an epistle is a letter
The good news of the life of Jesus; usually taken from the four gospel writers Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John
A short explanation of the Gospel message given by the priest or deacon after the Gospel is proclaimed; Sermon
Profession of Faith
Also known as the Creed, each time we recite it we are professing our faith that has been passed on to us from Jesus
Also known as Prayer of the Faithful or Intercessions, these are prayers of petition that the community offers to God for those who are in need
Liturgy of the Eucharist
The part of the Mass when we celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist
Prayers said over the bread and wine changing it into the body and blood of Christ
When we receive the Body and Blood in Holy Communion either with our hands or on our tongues
The priest ends the celebration with announcements and a final blessing.
The public worship and prayer of the Church
The procession where the gifts of bread and wine are offered to the priest
The priest and ministers process out of the Church during the final song
