Boxer- He had thought that Snowball was a good soldier.
" Ah, this is different! If comrade Napoleon says it, it must be right."
Boxer- He's confused after a # of animals were killed from causing trouble on the farm, and "listening to Snowball" (who told them to do it)
" I do not understand it. I would have not believed that such a thing could happen on our farm. It must be due to some fault in ourselves. The solution as I see it, it to work harder."
Squealer- He is telling animals about how he was "with" Boxer on his deathbed, and that those were Boxer's last words too.
"...'Forward in the name of the Rebellion. Long live animal farm! Long live Comrade Napoleon! Napoleon is always right.' Those were his very last words, comrades."
Napoleon- He's eating and drinking and playing cards with the human visitors at farm. (making toast)
" Gentlemen, here is my toast: To the prosperity of Manor Farm!"
Napoleon- He is telling the animals what happened after windmill fell for the first time.
" Do you know the enemy who has come in the night and overthrown our windmill? SNOWBALL!"
Benjamin- He is reading single commandment that is left to Clover, after all the other commandments were abolished.
" All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others."
Squealer- He's telling animals to no longer sing "Beasts of England"
" Its no longer needed, comrade. Beasts of England was a song of the Rebellion. But the Rebellion is now completed."
Squealer- He's telling the animals why exactly the pigs are in charge of the farm.
" He would be only too happy to let you make your descisions for youreselves. But sometimes you might make the wrong descisions, comrades, and then where should we be?"

Its a song, it stands for hopes and dreams of animals having a better life.

Because they can read and write, and they are the smartest of the animals.

Describe the animals flag.
It was an old green (Green stands for green fields of England) table cloth, with a painted white hoof and horn. (hoof and horn- represented republic of animals)
What happened to the milk and apples? How did Squealer rationalize that?
The milk and apples were mixed into the pigs mash every day, Squealer tells the animals that they were trying to preserve their health so they could make good descisions as leaders.
What was the Battle of the Cowshed?
Jones and the other farmers came with sticks and guns to retake the farm. Snowball had planned for this event and the animals ran the people off the farm again.
What was Snowball's role in the battle of the Cowshed?
Snowballs role was one of leadership, he planned and fought in the battle.
Describe the relationship between Snowball and Napoleon.
Napoleon and Snowball dont agree on anything.

He ruled that all descisions would be made by the pigs (in committee's) and there would be no more debates.

Napoleon had taken on the extra responsibility for their sake. He didnt want to but he had to so the animals didnt make the wrong descisions.

"Napoleon is always right", and "I will work harder'
Why did Napoleon in fact change is mind and decide to have the animals build the windmill?
If the animals were busy on the project they would have less time and energy to think about how miserable their lives were and would not revolt against him.
