Dorsiflex the big toe. Although the toe is not what is inflamed, the movement of the toe will irritate the FHL Tendon.

Describe how you get drop foot after a stroke?

Blood supply to the anterior compartment is compromised (anterior tibial artery). Can no longer supply the anterior fibular nerve which innervates the tibialis anterior and the other extensors. You will get foot drop.

To stop it from drooping down, you will need a brace to put on your foot.
