Terms in this set (13)
Tissue/tubes that carries sugar from the leaves to other parts of the plant.
A system of tubes in certain plants that transport water and minerals.
Tissue/tubes that carrie materials from the plant's roots to the leaves, like water and minerals.
What are the functions of a plant's stem?
Support the plant's leaves or fruit and house the plant's vascular system.
What vascular tissue in plants transports water and disolved nutrients?

What are the jobs of phloem and xylem?

Fibrous root system
Many groups grow out in all directions and divide many times. Sometimes look like upside down version of the above ground branches.
