So let the one who thinks he is standing beware that he does not fall. No temptation has come upon you except what is common to men. But God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out so that you may be able to endure it.
Because being under his anger is only for a moment,
But being in his favor is for a lifetime.
Weeping may come in the evening, but in the morning, there is a joyful cry.
Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed,
A secure refuge in times of distress.
For Jehovah loves justice,
And he will not abandon his loyal ones.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life nor angels nor governments nor things now here nor things to come nor powers nor height nor depth nor any other creation will be able to separate us from God's love that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
In the same way, I tell you, joy arises among the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
He said to him: "'You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.' This is the greatest and first commandment. The second, like it, is this: 'You must love your neighbor as yourself.
Jehovah supports all who are falling
And raises up all who are bowed down.
Tell them, '"As surely as I am alive," declares the Sovereign Lord Jehovah, "I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that someone wicked changes his way and keeps living. Turn back, turn back from your bad ways, for why should you die, O house of Israel?"
He heals the brokenhearted;
He binds up their wounds.
