Ingenuous
Someone who is frank, open, and unlikely to try to "pull something over" on you. Think "genuine."
Ingenious
People who are clever, original, inventive--think "genius."
Naive
Someone who hasn't learned the ways of the world and are idealistic and trusting beyond the point of safety; idealistic and inexperienced.
Credulous
Someone with a willingness to believe almost anything; not suspicious or skeptical oftentimes because he/she believes humans are incapable of lying; literally means "full of believing-ness."
Gullible
Easily tricked or easily fooled. More derogatory than credulous--implies that your ability to be tricked results from stupidity more than inexperience.

Incredible
Something that can barely be believed, possibly because it's so remarkable and unique and possibly because it's not believable.

Someone who is skeptical or not easily believing.

Personal belief, code of ethics; the principles by which people guide their actions.
Credence
Belief or trust-- "I place no credence in his story."
Credentials
A document proving a person's right to a title or privilege.
Disingenuous
Someone who is crafty, cunning, dishonest, and artfully untrustworthy. They will act simple and frank, but in reality they have ulterior motives. "A wolf in sheep's clothing."
