Renewable resource
A natural resource which can replenish with the passage of time, either through biological reproduction or other naturally recurring processes.
Solar energy
Energy from the Sun, which provides heat and light energy for Earth.

Form of energy conversion in which turbines convert the kinetic energy of wind into mechanical or electrical energy that can be used for power.
Geothermal energy
Thermal energy generated and stored in the Earth.
Hydro-electric energy
A form of energy generated by the conversion of free-falling water to electricity.
Nuclear energy
The energy released during nuclear fission or fusion, especially when used to generate electricity.
