Minimal invasive procedure that places a sutureless aortic graft inside the aortic aneurysm via femoral artery
∙ Monitor groin puncture sites, peripheral pulses, urine output and kidney function
∙ Monitor for graft leakage: pain in the back, pelvis or groin, ecchymosis of the groin, scrotum, or penis, tachycardia, weak or absent peripheral pulses, decreasing hematocrit and Hgb, increased abdominal girth, decreased UO Risk factors: diabetes, HTN, tobacco use, older age, high cholesterol level, CAD, ischemic stroke
S/s: intermittent claudication, hair loss, cool dry shiny skin, decreased peripheral pulses, thick brittle nails, arterial ulcers that form at the most distal ends of the body - small, circular, deep ulcers
