They're looking for the treasure map in Billy Bones' sea chest.

They hear a pistol shot as a warning.

The pirates abandon him and he trampled by some horsemen.

Who is Captain Flint?
He is described as one of the bloodthirstiest buccaneers that ever lived. He is the pirate who hid the treasure on Treasure Island.
What does Squire Trelawney decide to do?
He decides to fit out a ship in Bristol to go to Treasure Island.
Who does the doctor say he's most afraid of?
He says he's afraid of the way Trelawney talks too easily.
Chapter 7: What does Jim understand very quickly when he reads Squire Trelawney's letter?
That he has been talking of Treasure Island to the people in Bristol.
