"Code the Load"
*All loads should have the following product code painted on the butt end of a stem in the load. If a load is not coded properly, the supplier will be given the opportunity to code the load properly. Failure to code the load will result in an automatic downgrade to the lowest grade.

Quality Requirements: Any stems not meeting stated specifications will be subject to weight deductions, downgrade, or rejection. Loads with greater than 20% of total stems containing any defects listed below will be rejected

- stems over max. butt size (OO Oversized)
- stems under min. top size (SS Small Tops)
- stems over max. length (LL Over Length)
- stems under min. length (MM Short)
- scars, cat faces, or decay greater than 1.5" in depth
(RR Rot/Scars)
- sharp crooks or abnormal shape (CC Crooks)
- stems with 7'' min top can't have sweep bigger than 3'' in any 16ft section, for 8'' tops or bigger it's 4 in max sweep (CC Sweep)
- stems containing knots larger than 4'', stems with 3 knots in one section (KK Knot)
- stems with forks or double heart (FF Fork/Double Heart)
- no stems without limbs being trimmed flush to the tree ( TT Trim)
- stems with splits, tears, pulls (BB Broken/Split)
