1. INCREASING/DECREASING NF (OSCILLATION) - Initial actions
Slowly retard throttle of the engine with the higher Q/NF oscillation
2. Engine Oil Press (#1 or #2) - Description
Engine oil pressure is below 22 psi (normal range is 26-100 psi)
2. Engine Oil Press (#1 or #2) - Initial actions
ENGINE SHUTDOWN IN FLIGHT CHECKLIST
3. POST ENGINE SHUTDOWN - Description
TGT above 538 C after shutdown and/or excessive smoke from engine exhaust
3. POST ENGINE SHUTDOWN - Initial actions
APU - START
ENGINE IGNITION SWITCH - OFF
THROTTLE - OFF
STARTER - ENGAGE
Disengage starter when temp decreasing below 583 C
4. #1/#2 GEN BRG - Description
Generator main bearing is worn or has failed. AUX bearing may allow 10 hours of operation.
4. #1/#2 GEN BRG - Initial actions
No inflight corrective action
5. LIGHTENING STRIKE - Description
Possibility that all aircraft electrical power and electronics subsystems and controls are lost, both engines go to max power with no temp limiter or overspeed protection, engine over speed may result in engines shutting down.
5. LIGHTENING STRIKE - Initial actions
If engines shutdown, enter an autorotation immediately and increase power by sound and feel
If engines are operating, reduce speed to 80 kts, adjust throttles to control RPM, LASA Possible
6. FLT PATH STAB MALFUNCTION - Description
FLT PATH STAB caution light and Failure/Advisory light on the AFCS panel.
Hardovers will be detected by the AFCC.
Pitch FPS/trim hardover - 1/2 inch longitudinal cyclic movement
Roll FPS/trim hardover - 1/2 inch lateral stick displacement (corresponding roll rate)
Yaw FPS/trim hardover - 1/4 inche pedal motion followed by change in helo heading trim
6. FLT PATH STAB MALFUNCTION - Initial actions
