What is the definition of zone of inhibition and how does it relate to the sensitivity of microbes to the tested antibiotic?
Where antibiotics diffuse out and kills or prevents bacteria from growing. The larger the diameter the more effective the antibiotic will be

Center of Disease Control. They coordinate epidemiology of diseases in the US and create expertise/information to protect the public.
