C'est /s‿ɛ/, (before a vowel) /s‿ɛt‿/
A contraction of ce ("it, this") and est ("is"), the third-person singular indicative present form of être ("to be").
Note:
(1) french prefers to use c'est instead of just est

(2) c'est is acceptable to add even in plural nouns
