A digit within a number is considered to be a significant figure if:
- it is non-zero OR
- it is a zero that is between two significant figures OR
- it is a zero at the end of the number and to the right of the decimal point

Round your answer so it has the same precision as the least precise measurement
Significant figures when multiplying or dividing
Round your answer so that it has the same number of significant figures as the measurement with the fewest number of significant figures
