Cranial cavity
the cavity containing the brain, located within the skull, surrounds and protects the brain

a thin membrane lining the closed cavities of the body, thin double layer membrane; (also known as serous membrane); covers walls of the ventral body cavity and outer surfaces of the organs it contains
Dorsal body cavity
contains the cranial cavity and spinal column
Superior mediastinum
in Thoractic cavity,above the heart
Pleural cavity
the cavity in the thorax that contains the lungs
Pericardial Cavity
encloses the heart
Ventral Cavity
includes the front of the body (thoracic, abdominal, and pelvic cavities)
