In a public ceremony, Gov. Horatio Plump cut the ribbon for a new coal-fired power plant. As he waited his turn to make remarks to the audience, he spotted Greta who had been heavily critical of the new plant in her blog, claiming that it would accelerate climate change. The governor turned to you, an aide, and said, "Get her out of here. She'll write something nasty and this is a happy day." To be legal in your response, you:
Advise the governor that individuals, including journalists, cannot be excluded from public events.
Go to Greta and politely ask her to leave.
Go find a law enforcement officer and have the officer escort Greta away. (You are an aide and have no law enforcement powers.)
Go visit with Greta, tell her what the governor said and ask her not to post any negative comments about the event.
