Handwheel
The large wheel on the right side of the machine which turns to raise or lower the needle and take up lever. when turning it by hand always turn it toward you

Thread take-up lever
Pulls the thread from the spool through and through the tension regulator

Bobbin
A small, flat spool to hold the bottom thread

Bobbin winder spindle
Winds the tread onto the bobbin

Spool pin
Holds the spool of thread that feeds the top side stitching side of the fabric.

Presser foot
Holds the fabric firmly in place agains the feed dogs for sewing

Lever to raise and lower the presser foot (toward the back of the machine - looks like a black peg in the photo)

Stitch length control
Used to adjust the length of stitches from short to long
