Gerund phrase
Phrase that has (verb)ing used as a noun; THIS IS ALWAYS NOMINAL; (blinking back tears is my way of showing bravery; im a huge fan of riding my bike)
Nominals
Can sit anywhere a noun would sit; (his passion was making movies; as a career, he chose making movies) if you can replace it with cantaloupe, it is nominal
