What is serotonin syndrome?
Serotonin syndrome: increased heart rate, sweating, dilated pupils, tremors, twitching, hyperthermia, agitation, confusion, disorientation, hallucinations
Rare and life-threatening event that is greatly increased with MAOIs
Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome
Rare but potentially life threatening reaction. Most seen with typical antipsychotics (haloperidol, fluphenazine). Characterized by fever, muscle rigidity, AMS, and autonomic dysfunction (sweating, HTN, tachycardia)

! Chronic toxicity manifests as DI (polyuria, polydipsia)
