Describe the boo bradley house
the house was low, was once white with a deep front porch and green shutters, but had long ago darken to color of the slate-gray yard around it.

The conflict begins when Miss Caroline tells Scout she learned how to read wrong and she was taught wrong. Atticus didn't teach her how to read. Scout just picked up on it when he would read the paper aloud.Miss caroline told her to tell her dad not to teach her to read anymore.

She takes after the kids. She is the cook and does other little house hold jobs. She is not the mom but is the closes to a mom that the kids have. She does not live with them.
Describe Burris Ewell.
He is unwashed and unclean. He is lice and this does not surprise the kids but it does surprise miss caroline. The dad is a drunk. He does not work he gets state money. The kids only has to go to school on the first day and doesn't have to go any other time. The state allows this because they know how the dad is. The family can hunt during off season because if not the kids wouldn't eat.

That she can not read at home and atticus can not teach her. She feels upset because she enjoyed reading with atticus.

Scout had found a piece of gum in the Radley tree. She was suspicious at first because anything that was on the Radley property was to be poisoned.First she went and sniffed it and then licked it. When Jem had gotten home he asked scout where she had gotten the gum. When he found out where she got it he made her spit it out and go wash out her mouth.

They had found a box that looked like a ring box and inside was two indian pennies. These items were located in the hole of the tree in the Radley's front yard.

Boo Radley. They reenacted Boo Radley's life. Jem was Boo, Dill was Mr. Radley, Scout was Mrs. Radley. They were replying and reacting the story they had heard about him.
What causes Scout to stop playing this game
Atticus came home and caught them playing with scissors when Jem was stabbing Boo with the scissors. Another reason is when they were playing in the tire jem was upset so he pushed scout really hard and she had hit a curb and flew out the tire. She ended up in the Radley Place and then she had heard someone laugh at her.

When they went in the backyard they gate creaked and they told them to spit on the gate from stopping it to creak, Jem gets caught and stuck under the fence and he had to take off his pants. When they went home gun shots went off and they went inside. They had then decided to go back outside because if not they would think something is suspicious. Atticus saw him without pants and was suspicious and he had said he had lost his pants in strip poker. Later that night he went back to go get his pants and came home and got back in bed.

They were on fence stitched and was not a nice sewing job. They were stitched and folded on the fence as someone was expecting them to come get them. If there was a cleanly done nice sewing job is was clearly a women, if not it was a man.

A Pocket watch, grey ball of twine, a old spelling medal, a whole pack of gum, soap figurines,a chain with an aluminum knife. The unique thing was the soap figurines because it was made to look like jem and scout.
How do the kids plan on thanking the person who is leaving items in the tree?
They plan on writing a letter to the person who is leaving the items for the kids in the knot hole.
What happens to spoil the kids' plan? How does Jem react to this?
They go to put the letter in the tree for the person leaving the items for them the hole had been cemented. They had asked mr nathan if he had cemented the tree hole and he said yes because the tree was dying. When they went home and asked Atticus he said the tree was as healthy as they are. They told Atticus and he said that mrs nathan knows more about tree then they do. Jem cries over the hole being cemented.

They decide to make a snowman

They build it with dirt and then cover it up with snow. They are crafty and creative.
Describe the events that happen the night of the snow day?
Miss Maudie's house catches on fire. They had to go outside just in case. Maycomb is so small that other fire trucks from other county have to come help. They were so caught up in watching what was going on someone had put a blanket on scout.
Who put the blanket around Scout? Who informs her about this? How does she react to this?
Boo radley had put a blanket on Scout and Atticus had asked her where she had gotten the blanket from. Scout did not know and Atticus had told her that Boo Radley had done it. She was surprised because she didn't realize that he was right behind her and she could have saw him.
How does Miss Maudie feel about what happened to her house?
She is not really upset. She wanted a smaller house instead of a bigger house with a bigger garden. She wanted a bigger garden then a bigger house.
why does Scout get in a fight with Cecil Jacobs?
Cecil Jacobs was making fun of atticus and who he is defending.

person atticus is defending. He is a member of calpurnia's church. he was accused of raping a white person.
What reasons does Atticus give for defending him
Atticus couldn't hold up his head in town, he couldn't represent Maycomb county, He couldn't even tell Scout and Jem to do something ever again. Scout and Jem could never ask to mind Atticus again.
Describe Aunt Alexandra and Uncle Jack.
Atticus sister and brother; Uncle jack is a goofy uncle, he is the kids favorite, he is more relaxed
Aunt Alexandra is prim and proper,little bit more uptight, also talks how scout doesn't act like a little lady, the kids do not talk to her as much, criticise atticus on how he raises the children

cussing; she said she learned all this from school and thought if she would say that she wouldn't have to go to school they would take her out. Her plan does not work.

Scout was beating up francis because he was saying stuff about atticus. During the fight Uncle Jack stops them and they do not listen to what Scout side of the story was they only listened to Francis

Atticus is defending a black person who committed a crime against a white person. he is most worried about the children and how it will affect them. He is afraid that Scout won't be able to keep her temper and get in a lot of fights.

He has to clean her garden and read to her every day after school for 2 hours even on Saturday

to break her addiction to the medicine. When Jem reads to her this helps her keep her mind off of the medication. Jem stayed a little later everyday so she had a longer time period to be off the medicine.
