Where/Fossil Discoveries
Skeleton fragments were found in 1974 in Ethiopia, and was named Lucy. Another Skeleton was found in 1995 in Central Africa.
Based on an afarensis head found in 1992,they have apelike heads, a brain one third the size of a modern human, and a jutting apelike jaw. they also had hands and arms similar to humans. No more is known about the details of their appearance.
Capability Skills
Based on Lucy, had a slant of the pelvis so they could walk upright. the blunted teeth of the afarensis prove that they ate bugs,eggs,fruit,lizards, and any food easy to chew
