- before & after every use OR every 6 months.
- metal for rusts, nicks, burrs, cracks, dents, metal distortion & proper operation.
- nylon portion for grease, oil & acid, foreign matter.
How do you perform maintenance on sling sets?
- wash off dirts & substances with a mild detergent or soap.
- after washing, rinse thoroughly & air dry. DONT wring water out or dry in the sun.
- remove corrosion from metal part with a wire brush, emery cloth or similar material.
- remove burrs or sharp edges w/ a file. 1/8 inch dents/distortion will render equipment unserviceable.
- replace defective components.
