ostendebantur iuxta scripturas.
It was being revealed according to the scriptures. Meanwhile walking we had come to a certain place where those mountains were uncovering themselves yet we were going between them and they were making a boundless valley, not natural, the most flat and greatly beautiful, and was uncovering across the valley the sacred mountain of the God of Sinai. However, the place here where the mountains were uncovering themselves was joined with that place which are the Graves of Yearning.
Therefore in that place he came with, at least those sacred guides had informed those who were being with us, saying, "The habit is so that it may be made who come here from this prayer, since the mountain of God might be seen from this place for the first time," and just as we had made.
However it was approximately four miles from this place to the mountain of God all through that valley which I had called huge.
