Medical Dosage Calculations Quiz I
The first quiz will cover chapters 1-6 in Medical Dosage Calculations book by Olsen, Giangrasso and Shrimpton (2012). There will be problems on basic math, dimensional analysis, conversions (household and metric), abbreviations, label reading, and calculating oral medications using dimensional analysis. You will not be able to use calculators on this quiz (the calculations are basic math—you will be able to use calculators on the second quiz).

Equivalents Between Systems (back cover of the book)
Appendix B: Common Abbreviations Used in Medical Documentation (pages 381-382)
The only content on the quiz from Chapter 2 includes The 6 Rights , and Drug Labels (along with Table 2.2)
The content from Chapter 6 on Calculating Dosage by Body Weight and Calculating Dosage by Body Surface Area IS NOT on the quiz.
