animal-like protist that causes malaria. Spread by mosquitoes.

thread like tubes that make up the body of a fungus

Ascus
sac like structure that produces spores in yeast, molds, truffles, and morels

round spore case of the zygote fungi, examples include bread and fruit mold

fungi that have no seen sexual reproductive stage, Penicillium is the main example. Cause Athletes Foot and Ringworm
