Ovulation
When the egg leaves the ovary to be fertilised.
Puberty(Males)
This starts around 11-15 years of age. Boys start producing sex hormones(testosterone) to develop into a fully mature male.
Puberty(Females)
This starts around 10-14 years of age. Pituitary gland starts to produce female sex hormones (oestrogen) so the female can start to develop into a fully mature women.
Menstruation
When the lining of the uterus is released over 4-5 days
Fertilisation
When a sperm's nucleus (male) fuses with the egg's nucleus (female) to make a zygote
Zygote
The combination of a sperm cell and a egg cell
Embryo
When the zygote has divided into many more cells, it is known as an embryo.
Placenta
filter between the baby and foetus that ensures the blood does not mix
Asexual
One parent. Offspring are identical to parent and each other.

transports the male nucleus of the pollen grain to the female nucleus of the egg for fertilization.

During pollination , The process by which pollen from the anthers of a flower lands on the stigma of a flower either by wind or insect.

fluid that keeps foetus moist and cushions it from blows

muscular bag that squeezes the baby out during birth
umbilical cord
passes food and oxygen to foetus and removes waste such as Co2
