Evidence-Based Medicine

An approach to health care that promotes the collection, interpretation, and integration of best research-based evidence in making decisions about the care of individual patients.

Holistic Medicine

An approach to medicine that considers not only physical health but also the emotional, spiritual, social, and psychological well-being of the person.

Alternative Medicine

A broad range of health care practices that are not taught in medical schools, not generally used in hospitals, and not usually reimbursed by insurance companies.

Manipulative & Body-Based therapies

Techniques that focus primarily on the structures and systems of body, including the bones & joints, soft tissues, and circulatory and lymphatic systems. (Massage therapy, Chiropractor)

Energy Therapies

Therapeutic touch, magnets, other types of therapies for practitioners by helping change the energy fields inside/outside the body by using physical touch.
