Proximal Convoluted Tubule
reabsorbs ions, nutirents, plasma proteins, viatamins and water. secretes some hydrogen ions
reabsorbs water in tubular fluid, reabsorbs Na+ and Cl-, secretes some H+ ions
Distal Concoluted tubule
Secretes H+ and K+ into tubular fluid reabsorbs Na+ and water from tubular fluid (in presence of aldosterone and ADH)
