What is the purpose of the cornea?
The cornea provides a clear window into the eye to allow images to pass through the image processing tissue, the retina.
What is the purpose of the optic nerve?
The Optic nerve is the information superhighway of the eye. It transmits the information the retina collects and sends it to the brain for processing.
