What is an ejidos? Which country's land management was affected?
Ejidos- government came in and bought out hacienda and divided them up into ejidos and each ejido has one family that lives there. You grow things there and the gov taxes the things. Started to function like a community (communal agriculture) and shared there things. Still wasn't very productive because they kept growing on the same land so productions got less so government let each people own their own land and it didn't work

Since 1990 production has gone way down because they have moved factories to east and south east Asia
Monterrey improved education, develop high skill labor, high tech industries because the maquiladora is going down

Started being British then African population came in to work (Milado) then the wealthy Spanish came in because of all the other countries drug problems
