Usted commands are formed by removing the -o from present tense yo form and attaching an opposite ending (-e for AR verbs and -a for ER/IR verbs). For example, I can command an usted by telling him/her "coma," to run "corra," and to speak "hable."
Irregulars include ser (sea), ir (vaya), dar (dé), estar (esté), and saber (sepa). Some spelling changes occur in -car/gar/zar verbs to preserve a sound: jugar (juegue), tocar (toque), empezar (empiece).
