Usually the fifth step in the scientific method where you explain what happened in the experiment and why the results came out they way they did and address any possible errors; often times, scientists will publish (communicate) their results and findings in scientific journals
Independent Variable
Variable that is tested or changed by you
Dependent Variable
Variable that is measured or changes due to the IV
Constants
Everything else in an experiment that must be kept the same; ensures you are testing only your IV; should have at least 5; sometimes called controlled variables
Control Group
Test group that has nothing done to it (doesn't have the IV); original test group

Measurement of an object's mass in relation to its volume
