Burris Ewell is completely different compared to Walter Cunningham and Chuck Little. They all might be poor, but Burris is very rude and disrespectful towards everyone. He has no hygiene whatsoever, he has 'cooties', and he doesn't even try to look half decent. (35-37) Walter Cunningham however, comes from a respectable family, where he doesn't accept anything he can't pay back. It is said he has hookworms, but that is because he doesn't own any shoes, and if he did have shoes he'd wear them. But, he had a fresh shirt and mended pair of overalls on, so Walter does at least try to look his best. (25-27) Chuck Little isn't wealthy either, but unlike Burris he is a gentlemen towards everyone. (pg. 34) I think they all act differently because of how they're being raised at home. The children see the way their parents talk and act, and so they copy them making them think it's right.
