Sx suggesting angina

Exception: Ongoing or unstable symptoms - Test should not be performed prior to relief of Sx
Patient with recent ACS
If treated conservatively without coronary angiography, can use to risk assess within 3 month, assuming patient is stable

1. a typical quality and duration
2. provocation by exertion or emotional stress
3. relief by rest or nitroglycerin
Nonanginal or nonischemic chest pain
Chest pain with 1 or none of the following characteristics:
1. a typical quality and duration
2. provocation by exertion or emotional stress
3. relief by rest or nitroglycerin
Intermediate pretest probability
variably defined as between 25 and 75 percent or between 10 and 90 percent
