Act 1-Scene 2 (a camp)
King duncan wanted to know what happened in the scottish and irish battle; bloddy captain tells him that macbeth and banquo fought with great courage; thane of Cawdor sentenced to death; macbeth named thane.
Act 1-Scene 3 (a heath)
witches hail macbeth on becoming thane of Cawdor; tell him he will be king one day; tell banquo, he will never be king but his children will be right beside macbeth. ross and angus give them the news about macbeth and head back to the palace
Act 1-Scene 4 (the palace)
guys come to the palace; king puts malcolm upon his throne; duncan thanks them; names macbeth thane of Cawdor; plans are made to dine at macbeth's castle
Act 1-Scene 5 (macbeth's castle)
lady macbeth receives letter; wants to become more masculine than feminine; messenger tells her they are on their way; they meet and she tells him her plan to kill the king
Act 1-Scene 6 (before macbeth's castle)
king arrives and is greeted by lady macbeth's hospitality; king then demands to see macbeth and goes inside

macbeth thinks about the assassination and hope there wont be any consequences; he decides to not kill the king; lady macbeth calls him a coward and has no manhood; macbeth decides to commence the murder.
Act 2-Scene 1 (court of macbeth's castle)
banquo and son Fleance light up macbeth's castle; sees macbeth still awake; tells him he dreamt about the witches; they leave and macbeth sees a vision of a dagger with blood on the blade and pointing towards duncan; he then heads toward the kings chamber.
Act 2-Scene 2 (macbeth's castle)
macbeth cries out and lady macbeth thinks the chamberlains have awaken and the plan had failed; she had set up a dagger for him; the deed has been done; she is mad because he forgot to leave the dagger in the sleeping chamberlains; macbeth hears knocking; went to go clean his hands filled with blood
Act 2-Scene 3 pt. 1 (macbeth's castle)
a porter finally answers the door; macduff and Lenox enter and question why he took so long; he was drunk; macduff asks to see the king; macbeth tells him he is asleep. macduff enters the chamber; comes screaming out that the king is dead; malcolm and donalbain are told that their father had been killed.
Act 2-Scene 3 pt. 2 (macbeth's castle)
macbeth declares that he has killed the chamberlains in his rage; macduff seems suspicious about these new deaths; lady macbeth faints; banquo and macduff call for help; malcolm and donalbain are scared and think they might come for them; malcolm declares he will go to england and donalbain will hasten to ireland
Act 2-Scene 4 (outside macbeth's castle)
ross and an old man walk outside; discuss the strangeness in the past few days like duncan's horses acting weird, an owl killing a falcon; macduff enters and says that other lords named macbeth king; suspicion grew as probably someone payed the chamberlains, or malcolm and donalbain's absence
Act 3-Scene 1 pt. 1 (the palace)
king macbeth enters with queen and invite banquo to a feast; macbeth wants to talk to banquo about malcolm and donalbain, they probably want to plot against his crown; everyone departs but a servant, who has some people waiting for macbeth, macbeth orders that they be fetched and the servant leaves.
Act 3-Scene 1 pt 2 (the palace)
now that macbeth is alone, he thinks about banquo and the prophesy and is now scared of banquo, for his children might someday take over him and his family; servant enters with 2 guys who are murderers he hired, he asked them if they are willing to kill banquo they agree and also commence to kill fleance.
Act 3-Scene 2 (the palace)
lady macbeth sends a servant to go get her husband; he comes in and is too disconnected; saying that his mind is full of scorpions; macbeth tells his wife about banquo and to be jovial and kind to banquo during the evening feast, in order to lure their next victim into a false sense of security.
Act 3-Scene 3 (a park near palace)
banquo and fleance approach on their horses and dismount. they light a torch and they encounter 3 murderers; they kill banquo, who dies while urging his son to flee and to avenge his death; a murderer extinguishes the torch and fleance escapes; they leave with banquo's body towards macbeth castle to tell him what happened.
Act 3-Scene 4 pt 1 (hall in palace)
macbeth and lady macbeth enter for the feast; macbeth talks with murderer#1 and is mad that fleance escaped; he heads back to his guests and sees banquo's ghost sitting on his chair and goes crazy since no one else can see him.
Act 3-Scene 4 pt 2 (hall in palace)
lady macbeth makes excuses for why macbeth is acting weird; ghost disappears then reappears; guest leave room and he mutters-blood will have blood-; wants to meet the witches again tomorrow for more prophesies about the future;go back to bed.
Act 3-Scene 5 (a heath)
the witches are shown and meet hecate,the goddess of witchcraft; she's mad at them for getting into macbeth's business but will be supervising the mischief; she says when macbeth comes tomorrow, they must summon visions and spirits that fill his head with false sense of security and get him confused.
Act 3-Scene 6 (the palace)
somewhere in scotland Lennox and another lord walk and talk about the strangeness in the kingdom; banquo's death has officially been blamed on fleance; but they believe it was macbeth; lord says that macduff has gone to england and join malcolm in pleading with England's king, edward for aid; they pray that they will be successful and save scotland from macbeth
Act 4-Scene 1 pt 1 (a cavern)
witches are making chants; macbeth comes; demands prophesies; first says watch out for macduff; second a bloody child tells him none of the women alive shall harm macbeth; third a crowned child holding a tree says that he is safe until Birnam Wood moves to Dunsinane Hill; last 8 kings walk by, the last carrying a mirror; banquo's ghost walks at end of the line;
Act 4-Scene 1 pt 2 (a cavern)
macbeth wants explanation for last vision; witches vanish and Lennox tells him that macduff has headed to England; macbeth then hires a murderer to go capture macduff's castle, and to kill macduff;s wife and children.
Act 4-Scene 2 (macduff's castle)
lady macduff tells ross why her husband had left; feels betrayed; he tells her to respect his decision and leaves; she tells her kid that his father is dead; he disagrees; messenger hurries and tells her she's in danger; she ignores him; murderers come in; stab the kid; chase after lady macduff.
Act 4-Scene 3 pt 1 (england)
malcolm does not trust macduff; thinks he is working with macbeth; malcolm questions if he is fit to be king; macduff disagrees with his future; then agrees that maybe he should not be alive in the first place; macduff has passed malcolm's test; a doctor appears briefly and mentions that a crew of wretched souls waits for king Edward so they may be cured; malcolm explains to macduff that king edward has a miraculous power to cure decease.
Act 4-Scene 3 pt 2 (england)
ross enters and tells macduff his wife and children are well; macduff tells malcolm to return to his country; bad stuff has happen since macbeth had become king; ross then confesses that macbeth has murdered his wife and children; macduff is crushed with grief; malcolm tells him to turn his grief to anger; macduff assures that he will get revenge upon macbeth
Act 5-Scene 1 (dunsinane. ante room in castle)
a doctor and a gentlewoman discuss Lady Macbeth's strange habit of sleepwalking; she enters and describes lady macduff and banquo's death; says that there is blood in her hands and nothing can wash it off
Act 5-Scene 2 (the country near dunsinane)
group of scottish lords is approached by england army led by malcolm to join forces; says that macbeth/tyrant, has fortified dunsinane castle and is making his military preparations in a mad rage.
Act 5-Scene 3 (dunsinane)
macbeth walks in the dunsinane hall with the doctor; not afraid of english army nor malcolm; none of women born can harm him; calls his servant sexton; he conforms that the army is approaching; macbeth insists upon wearing his armor; macbeth tells doctor to cure his wife from her craziness.
Act 5-Scene 4 (country near birnam wood)
malcolm talks with english lord Siward and his officers about macbeth's plan to defend the castle; decide that each soldier should cut down a bough of the forestand and carry it in front of him as they march to the castle, thereby disguising their numbers.
Act 5-Scene 5 (dunsinane. within the castle)
A woman's cry is heard, and Seyton appears to tell Macbeth that the queen is dead; messenger brings news that the trees of birnam wood moved to dunsinane; terrified, he remembers the prophesy that said he could not die till birnam wood moved to dunsinane; he declares that at least he will die fighting.
Act 5-Scene 6 (outside the castle)
Outside the castle, the battle commences. Malcolm orders the English soldiers to throw down their boughs and draw their swords.
Act 5-Scene 7 ( another part of the field)
On the battlefield, Macbeth strikes those around him vigorously, insolent because no man born of woman can harm him. He slays Lord Siward's son and disappears in the fray.
Act 5-Scene 8 (another part of the field)
Macduff emerges and searches the chaos frantically for Macbeth, whom he longs to cut down personally. He dives again into the battle.
Act 5-Scene 9 ( outside castle)
Malcolm and Siward emerge and enter the castle.
Act 5-Scene 10 (another part of the field)
macbeth finally encounters macduff; they fight;Macbeth insists that he is invincible because of the witches' prophecy, Macduff tells Macbeth that he was not of woman born, but rather from his mother's womb / Untimely ripped; now he's scared; declares he will not surrender; will not kiss malcolm's feet; exit fight
Act 5-Scene 11 (castle)
malcolm and siward walk together in the castle; Ross tells Siward that his son is dead. Macduff emerges with Macbeth's head in his hand and proclaims Malcolm King of Scotland;Malcolm calls all those around him his friends and invites them all to see him crowned at Scone
